River Island is by far one of my favorite brands. Next to basics made from pretty and comfortable fabrics the affordable brand uses haute couture trends for their collections. The clothing makes me feel fashionable, strong & sexy. I took inspiration for the theme of this shoot from my father. He is a guitar player and used to play in a band that was quite famous in the Netherlands when I was a kid. I grew up listening to a lot of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jimmi Hendrix, Bob Marley and Jamiroquai. The pictures turned out even better then I expected. Party like a Rockstar!

River Island is bij verre een van mijn favoriete merken. Naast basics van prachtige comfortabele stoffen gebruikt  het betaalbare merk haute couture geïnspireerde trends in hun collecties. De kleding geeft mij een fashionable, sterk en sexy gevoel. Ik heb mijn vader als inspiratie voor de shoot gebruikt. Hij is een gitarist en speelde vroeger in een band die best wel bekend was hier in Nederland. Ik ben opgegroeid met muziek van Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jimmi Hendrix, Bob Marley en Jamiroquai. De foto’s zijn nog beter geworden dan ik verwacht had. Party like a Rockstar!

My outfit today : Chillax in the City

Sometimes I feel like crap and I don’t want to wear heels & uncomfortable fashion. Dough when I need to (business meeting, event etc.) I pull myself together, squeeze those little miniature feet of mine in my sexy pumps and putt on a pageant smile. Today my schedule allowed me to wear whatever the fuck I felt like! So I had a chill and relaxed day in the centre of Amsterdam. Lunch with sister Fanny and I visited the cutest little shop (read about that later). With a plan like that comes comfortable street style: Gray mini skirt with studs from River Island, T-shirt with color print from Mouth2Mouth, FLAT black boots from Fendi (old favorites) & hair-bow from Primark. Voila!

Ik heb wel eens van die dagen dat ik mij als een zoutzak voel. Dan heb ik geen zin in oncomfortabele mode & hakken. Als het moet (voor een zakelijke afspraak, evenement enz.) dan moedig ik mezelf aan, pers ik die (belachelijk kleine) voetjes in mijn meest sexy pumps en zet ik mijn miss-verkiezing glimlach op. Vandaag liet mijn agenda toe dat ik ‘whatever the fuck’ ik wil kon dragen. Dus het werd een gezellig dagje in de Pijp in Amsterdam. Lunch met mijn zusje Fanny & een bezoekje aan een TE schattig boetiekje (lees daar later alles over). Met zo’n plan komt een makkelijke street stijl: mini rokje met studs van River Island, T-shirt met kleurprint van Mouth2Mouth, PLATTE zwarte laarsjes van Fendi (oude favorieten) & een haarbandje met strik van Primark. Voila!
