Madrid Fashion week is very caliente! They showed some amazing things on the catwalk for spring/summer 2011.  Many celebrity’s around the world wear corsets made by Maya Hansen. Check out the pictures from the amazing  catwalk show. Feminine silhouettes and delicate fabrics mixed with strong shapes and sexy black lace. So sassy! BTW I love that silver hair trend, very Tavi-like.

Madrid Fashion week is caliente! Er waren geweldige dingen te zien op de catwalk voor de lente/zomer van 2011.  Celebs vanuit de hele wereld dragen corsetten van Maya Hansen. Bekijk de foto’s van de geweldig catwalk show. Vrouwelijke silhouetten en fijn materiaal gemixt met sterke vormen en zwart kant. Lekker coquette! Oh en ik ben helemaal weg van die zilveren haren trend, erg Tavi-achtig.

GRAZIA catwalk: true eye candy

Grazia is one of my favorite magazines. I think it’s just simply clever that it’s a weekly mag so you don’t have to wait a month for more. Obviously they blow you away with wonderful selected fashion and beauty items but it’s not your typical glossy magazine, Grazia also reports about actuality from around the world each week. So it’s for fashionistas who are also interested in what’s going on in the world. Yesterday Grazia magazine organized a huge event in Amsterdam’s fifth avenue: the ‘PC hooftstraat’. From the beginning till the end of the street there was this amazing long catwalk where different shops showed their new collections. It may not be affordable for all but it was free for anyone to come and watch so I think everybody definitely got inspired. Very cool part of the event was the ‘Style Hunter Award’. GRAZIA selected twenty trendy fashionista’s (actually also a couple of fashionistos). Take a look at the pictures to find out who the winner was of a thousand euros worth of shopping money, pictures I made of my favorite catwalk looks, my look, Peek-a-Boo’s & some snapshots of celebs.

Grazia is een van mijn favoriete tijdschriften. Ik vind het geweldig dat het een wekelijkse magazine is zodat je niet lang hoeft te wachten op meer lees/kijk genot. Natuurlijk laten ze je telkens weer watertanden met zorgvuldig geselecteerde fashion en beauty items maar dat is niet alles. Grazia speelt in op de wekelijkse actualiteiten en doet daar verslag over. Dus eigenlijk is het blad voor wereld bewuste fashionistas. Gisteren had Grazia een groot event in Amsterdam georganiseerd in de PC Hooftstraat. Vanaf het begin tot het einde van de straat was het een grote catwalk waar diverse winkels hun nieuwe collecties showden. De kleding past misschien niet in ieders budget maar het was wel toegankelijk voor iedereen om te komen kijken. Ik denk dat de meeste mensen er zeker inspiratie uit hebben opgedaan. Super cool onderdeel van het event was de ‘Style Hunter Awards’. GRAZIA selecteerde op locatie twintig fashionistas (eigenlijk ook een paar fashionistos). Check de fotos om erachter te komen wie er uiteindelijke met een shopping-geld prijs van duizend euro  vandoor ging + fotos van mijn favoriete catwalk looks, mijn eigen outfit, Peek-a-Boo’s en snapshots van BN’ers.
